Being Prepared means Knowing Where to Locate Your Information.
Do you know where to find…
- Your Life Insurance policy is – or if you have one!
- The title to your vehicle(s).
- The password to your Verizon account (or any of your other accounts)? Where do you keep the password list?
- The name of the HR person for your spouse’s employer? What if something happened to your spouse and you needed to reach out to his/her company? (This has happened to me 3 times already).
- The access number and login to your bank accounts?
- The latest copy of your Will? How about a POA and/or Medical Directive? Think about having this for your spouse and your parents!
And along with that….where are all of these important papers kept? Are they in a safety deposit box? And, if so, where is the key to that safety deposit box kept? Are they in your LifeinCase? Where is your LifeinCase?
I’m right there with you! This is all something that I have been seriously thinking about for the last year and I have been in search of the answer to document and store all of this information. Talk about overwhelming!
